Looking for a pair of light hubs in 28H for climbing.

Anyone have any experience of these?

Claimed weights are pretty much less than any of the usual options from DT, Hope, Chris King & the like.

TIA

BHS hubs are lighter and the rear has slightly better spoke geometry. I'd suggest the 66UL laced heads in or the 71 wide front, and the 210 rear. The 190 rear has smaller bearings and not quite as good geometry but is still a decent hub.

You don't need as many spokes in the front as in the rear for rim brake road wheels. The rear is weaker due to dish and needs more spokes to compensate. 24h would match a 28h rear. That'll save around 20-25g.

Problem with BHS hubs is that they are in the US and are retail only. As I am in the UK and in the industry they'll be too pricey.

I have a pair of those on some stan's wheels and they have held up fine. They're not quite the quality of dt 240 but they are light and fairly durable. I got another lighter pair of their wheels with american classic hubs that were terrible.

Novatec A291/F482 have u.K diustribution. I even have the SB-SL versions. 24 spoke front will be fine is a 28 spoke rear is fine.
