If they are checking in with this thread or you are providing feedback, I'd love to hear from them about the hub. Perhaps they have some reasoning behind their decisions.

With regards to the straight flanges, it's possible that the prototype is straight to save cost. Final production should be angled though.

They're definitely straight, but there is some beveling on both sides of the flanges as they approach the top of the flange. Kind of like a steep trapezoid with a rounded top if that makes sense. I did provide them with feedback on where the geometry is lacking and where the engagement system is not, other than the weight penalty of the sprag clutch it is very cool -- almost a little spooky, but I will let them know of this thread as well. I don't know if they'll participate but they seem very receptive to the feedback.
