Hello WWs

I have a set of Sram S30 Al Race and now moving to 11 speed, I thinking buy a set of 11 speed hubs and use those rims to rebuild. Would be nice to hear from you guys for opinions, many thanks.

They have special spokes with a curved washer. I had spokes start popping due to corrosion and after a couple decided it was not viable to rebuild. I ended up replacing them with Fulcrum 3s and would never look back - much nicer wheels.

I did it with mine.

Early versions of the wheel used washers that were too brittle and when they cracked the spoke went slack and broke soon after. I fixed it by rebuilding the wheels with Bitex hubs, DT spokes (and changed to 2x on the rear) and oval steel washers (original internal nipples though). They rebuild very well, the rims are about 465g each but hold tension well (useful with the Bitex flange spacing).

Just spoke to wheel builder, sound like he doesn't keen to do it. I'm stuck now, try to find another wheels builder.
