Bora One 35 vs Ultra 35
Moderator: robbosmans
If the rim was lighter on the ultra II I am certain campy will communicate on that and would have different spare parts. The fact that the hubs are almost the same weight is not that surprising the delta between the 2 wheels is probably even less that what campy claims.

Bora ultra 2's hub weight:
Bora one's hub weight:
So I have a friend that works for a campy distributor weigh 4 sets of wheels campy freewheel with Parktool scale.
Bora one : front: 610gr. rear: 750gr. pair: 1360gr.
Bora ultra 2: front: 580gr. rear: 750gr. pair: 1330gr.
Bora one 35: front: 550gr. rear: 710gr. pair: 1260gr.
Bora ultra 35: front: 530gr. rear: 690gr. par: 1220gr.
As you can see, for the 50mm boras the difference is in the front hubs. With the 35mm boras looks like the new hubs shaved both front and rear compared to the old carbon hubs.

Maybe campy pick the lighter rim in the production line to make the Ultra 35.
