There are dozens of wheels with gigantex rims an 'no name' hubs (FFWD are among the best) but...
Around 1000-1200 euros the choise is either Corima or Campagnolo/Fulcrum. Period.
Corima are bombproof (no weight limit practically) and rather aero. Campagnolo/Fulcrum are bombproof also, less aero and have the best hubs by far.

Hi,
I was just wondering wich wheels would be the best choice for me.
I'm actually riding some Bontrager Aeolus 5 D3 (50mm) Clincher and I find that they have a lack of stiffness, i can feel them rub on my rear brake and I feel them flexing when I decide to open the machine !!
I'm looking for a 30-45mm deep wheel
I had in mind the following models
- Fulcrum Racing Speed 35
- Zipp 202
or maybe custom build my own wheelset from scrath with the best tubular rim available.
Any suggestions or experiences you had with these wheels ?
Thanks in advance.

I'm riding the Aeolus tubular D3, 3 front and 5 rear. I am very impressed with this wheelset, for both speed and stiffness.
I like my brakes with minimal gap. I put out very good power resulting in no rub at all, which is a sharp contrast to the Reynolds MV32 wheelset I also use.
