Does anybody use either of these tires as a daily trainer? Feedback? Can get both at a good price. The Forte have a okay weight and look to have pretty low rolling resistance. I have not had very good luck using the Vittoria 320 tpi tubulars. I've never had one not flat within a couple of rides.

Look out for threads on the Criteriums Juan...

I bought a couple of Criteriums last year. I put them on my wheelset at the end of last summer for the end of the season, and thought they were close to the Corsa CX in terms of riding and comfort.

But I had the same problems as other members seem to have encountered...
The casing doesn't look very strong. My rear started to bulge after only 1200 km. Looks like the cotton casing is "giving out" suddenly...

Can't speak for the Forte though, but it seems like it's the same casing, only different rolling band...

I'll be pulling the extra $20-25 for Vittorias next time...actually, I bought a Corsa Elite (cheap) to try for trainers..

Louis :)

Hi,

Test rode most of the range about a year or so ago.
Can't say I was impressed. The ride is Ok-ish but consistency isn't.
Below par QC on just about any material used.

Sorry, ;)
