I don't have the rims yet, but I received the tires. Some data. The FMB 25s are 4.7mm larger in DIA than the 22.5s. They are 6mm larger in DIA than the old Vittoria Cronos. Note my son could pass Jr rollout with a 53X12 with the Vittoria. The FMBs vary in width/height based on location of measurement by .7mm. The Veloflex Record vary little..

I have zipp 202s, I run 23s on them at the moment but will 25s run fine on them or will they be too wide a tubular?

I have a set of 23mm HED Belgium tubular rims on order. These are my first set of tubulars. I notice a lot of tubular tires come in 22mm sizes. Is it safe to mount a 22mm tubular on a 23mm rim? Or should I look for 23mm or greater?

Also, for using tubulars on a trainer; since there is no trainer specific tubular tire on the market (at least I haven't found one), is it advisable to just buy a cheap tubular for the rear wheel (eg. Conti Giro or Vittoria Rally) to use with an indoor trainer? Then take it off in the spring and put on something better?

Thanks.

I would continue to use my clinchers on the trainer, but the tubular wheels are being built with a Powertap hub on the rear wheel, so I'd like to use that on the trainer.

Trainer is another use for tubs that are not good enough for road use any longer. Your call as to what 'not good enough' means eg Stans etc sealant used for punctured, too worn, too cut-up

No problem, 202s get used in CX too.
