Does anyone have pics of the brake track on the new Hongfu 2013 NEW AERO(AR40) clinchers. From what I have read, it sounds like the basalt surface which tends to wear. Farsports has the new high temp surafce and that is weaved carbon and a different surface.

I may build up a set over the winter and can't decide what direction to go. Farsports builds up some nice priced product.. would prefer the 25 or 27 wide rims though.

Thanks :beerchug:

These are tubular, but brake track should be the same.

Dont know what the surface is, but I got 700+ miles on mine with a variety of terrain training and racing. Brakes surfaces look like any other brand so far. Swissstop Platinum pads, same I used on my 303 FC Zipps...braking is pretty much the same.
