Hi all, I have a pair of Zipp 404 tubulars from 2010/11. Lobe their performance but the rear hub is prone to play and creaking. So considering a rebuild over the winter. Options?
240 rear hub? Comes in 20 holes I think. Would have to find black front hub too and rebuild that wheel too.
Silver rear hub and rebuild only rear wheel. I run Campy at the moment but might change after next season.
I am light at 63 kg. Input appreciated. No super expensive hubs. I am in Europe.

I rebuilt a set of 404's with a DT240 hub. It's the way to go for quality, looks, compatibility, etc....

Tune also can supply a 16/20 hole set of Mig Mag hubs if you want a colour choice.

Tune Mag 120 is a good option for the rear, 20h as poster above stated.
Otherwise, kind of limited due to the 20h rear setup.
Zipp wisely went to 24h on the rear and now even 2x with the 188v9 hub.
So...yeah, kind of in a rock/hard spot on your options. Don't see why that Tune setup wouldn't be a flat out awesome build.
I never had any questions/issues with the 88 hub personally, it is what it is, an overall pretty darn good hub. It is that damn 188 on the previous years that is garbage.
