I have a 188 V7 hub and associated Sapim CX-Ray spokes for a 303 Firecrest which I have now had built with a PowerTap hub.
I'm looking for a rim too to rebuild the hub and spokes in to for training.
Zipp 404 replacement rim

Bringing old topic back to life for those interested.
Finally decided to replace my cracked 404 FC Clincher. Purchased non-branded 25mm wide 56mm U-shaped carbon rim off ebay. ERD was closed enough to the Firecrest that I re-used the original spokes & hubs without issues. Wheel built up with no problems, laterally and radially straight with even spoke tension. Spoke tension was set to the same as the 404. I did not use the nipple washers that came out of the 404 as it would not fit in the rims spoke hole access.
The rim structurally looks sound. There are minor cosmetic imperfections but this is what I expected from previous experience with carbon stuff ordered from China.
Will take it easy on the first few outings and will use this for mostly flat rides.......
