Don't think anyone has talked about these hoops here yet. New design from Easton, wide profile rim and completely new hub design, claimed fastest in their class. The graphic looks nice, and the depth seems like a nice all rounder.

Deciding between these Easton, Zipp 303/404, Bora One (Black Label), and Reynolds 46 for my new bike.

I saw these and was interested in them as well. I have EC90SL 38mm clinchers and i am a huge fan of them but i am doing some Tri's this year and was after a rim with a deeper profile. Cant find any info about who has them in Perth, or anywhere in Australia, so i not waiting and i am getting some Reynolds 46 instead. I do like the look of these

i don't think the wheels have hit the market yet. Per Bikerumor, they're available beginning this fall.

I like what Easton is doing with wheels. The video is good and it does appear Easton has done their homework. Bike Rumor list the width as 21mm which is probably a mistake since the video claims 28mm. Only thing is that that width will not make it on my SL3 Tarmac. With the growing widths in today's wheel marketplace, its hard to tell what frames are compatible.

These look pretty great to me. It is good to see Easton revamped their hubs.
Super wide rims are the future I guess. I'm all for it

Easton site says they will be available "Winter 2013"... And it does look like they will be 28mm wide (external).

Someone in a local forum already has them and posted pics of it and on his bike as well. I'll see if he can provide any comparison with other wheels or general review...

Easton has released a youtube video that shows how to swap the shimano body for a campagnolo body for the new echo hubs (that are used by this new wheel).

I would hope it is only a matter of time before they offer the wheel as Campagnolo.

EDIT: it appears that they are only selling a shimano set. If you ride Campy you buy the shimano version, then buy the freehub ($120) then buy campy compatible pads ($30).

In summary, Easton sucks.
