I use a metal pick to remove the BB30 seal to regrease the bearings inside.
it bends the seal a little, is there a good trick?

I push it back and can't detect any issues.

Most of the seals are reinforced with metal, so just bend them back as straight as possible and you are fine. They have a lip that snaps into place on the bearing, so even if the seal is a little wavy it should be fine.
