After searching 305 results from a search for some options of 20 hole hubs I'm left with asking, so sorry if I missed a thread.

Anyway the freehub on my DA7850 composite wheel has given up, 13 months after buying them :( Shimano have said a replacement will be at least 6 weeks, also I had 2 spoke let go, these are dated as 8 weeks before any arrive in the UK so I've decided to throw the hub away and the spokes and just get them rebuilt rather than wait for ages only to have wheels that I will wonder if they will fail again, forget the fact that I was quoted £4 ($6) per spoke and in the region of £130 ($200) for the freehub.

So any suggestions, recommendation? I use these wheels for wet races and also training so ideally the hub should be serviceable and although light suitable for a hard life.

Have you considered Royce hubs?

I am a cup and cone man usually, but hve been very impressed with Royce.

They do 2 20h fronts - the Ultra lite, and Mid flange. I use the mid flange and very happy.

What do other people think?

He is very helpful and straight on the phone, if you have time!

Tune Mag 180
Alchemy Orc
White Industries H2

Those are all very solid hubs. The WI is the cheapest. The Tune is the lightest. The ORC is the stiffest.

I'm hoping to build up a new front wheel using the Enve SES 3.4 tubular rim. I've already purchased the rim, but am having a hard time deciding on a front hub to match.
I prefer the look of straight pull spokes, but finding a matching front hub doesn't leave a lot of choices.

Among the hubs I'm considering are the not-yet released Alchemy ELF-aero, and the Tune Mig45.

Any information yet on the new Alchemy ELF-aero? Anyone with prototypes that they are allowed to comment on?
Any pictures of this available?

Regarding the Tune Mig45, do you really need the factory tools to reassemble the hub after building, or can a DIY home mechanic actually purchase the hub and reassemble the axle with simple, non-proprietary tools?

Thanks in advance.

Alchemy aero front is a long way off. Probably a year or so.
