What do you think? much better now ah?

Agreed, much better. Awesome looking bike. Wheels complement it nicely.

Did you remove 2 and then put new one opposite?

Got them the other day, just missing a chain now, but honestly I just can't take my eyes off of them. And NO picture seem to do them justice.

No, I remove them all and get a new set of decals from e-bay and re-install them but only two per side.

I eventually have removed the white decals, I thought it was too much stickers indeed but naked doesn't seems to make it looks so better in my opinion.... I thought to put on the black matt stickers. What do you guys think? would it look nicer with the black matt?

+1; it looks very good to me without the stickers (but then again I am a bit biased since I took the stickers off of mine).

Or if the transparent decals of the Ultimate will be contrasted the same on the Carbon SL faring? Do the Ultimate and the Cosmic SL has same arbor colour?

I have tried and put the cosmic clear decals, the contrast is quite poor. Any suggestions? For sure I don't want to get back to the original white decals.

I have an opp to buy these cheap... < $500, used. They're about 2 years old and the previous owner had no issues with them.

These would be my second carbon wheelset.

I'm much lighter than the previous owner. Should I be concerned about the possibility of the carbon failing? Apologies if this has been covered before.

The carbon is a fairing; it serves no structural purpose. If it looks fine, then it should be fine.

Hey Everyone,
sorry to jump in late.

As a matter of fact, despite it's relatively thin construction and the appearance acting only as a fairing, in fact the carbon on a Cosmic Carbone SL or SLR or SLE does in fact serve structural purpose. It adds radial strength and stiffness. If you rode the wheels without the carbon, the rim would be much "softer," would stress cycle and de-tension the spokes (or even flat spot) much more readily.

Regardless, these wheels are bomber so if they look fine, they are.

hit me with PM or whatever if you care to discuss further! I remain at your disposal for Mavic stuff!
