Just built this up. Frame is a new Scott Foil in hmf carbon fibre size 54. Sram Red groupset, Ritchey c260 stem, wcs bars, Ffwd f6r Ltd tubulars, Speedplay ti pedals. My first aerobike but came out quite light at 6.55 kg. Bought it as a Foil 40 and took the 105 groupset of and moved everything from my Canyon cf.

Looking great as is! And kudos for skipping the dubious contrasting white saddle / bar / stem / tape.

Does it feel any stiffer - better or worse - than your outgoing Canyon?

Thx. Haven't ridden it yet. Cold and wet here at the moment. I am in Sweden so worst case is test ride this spring... But hopefully I will get a ride in this weekend. Liked my Canyon but it didn't really match my groupset and wheels. Wanted something different.

Nice looking frame and nice match with its components.

I took it for a short, windy, test ride today. So far so good. Haven't ridden my roadbike in a month or so, just my Crux, so side by side comparison is a bit off. But felt very much like my Canyon actually but sligthly quicker front end. Stiff bb but not too harsh ride. Not overly stiff or that wooden/dead feel so that was good. Felt at home straight away so that's a good sign.

The old Scott has got new bars and wheels. 6.85 kilos with the Fulcrum Racing Quattro carbon clinchers as pictured. Qr skewers are heavy Dura-Ace so 6.8 would be easy.Image
