@lacie123401,

Just did a measurement for you, the standover height for the Colnago Master in 50cm, is approx 750mm.

Thank you so much for taking your time to measure!
Pardon me for asking, but may I ask what the rider height / inseam might be? I'm also in a range for 50-51cm, but those are hard to come by.
Thank you for your help.

@lacie123401

I'm approx 164cm with an inseam of 76.7cm.
As a comparison, my Colnago C50 is size 51cm traditional, with a 52.7mm toptube,
Colnago Master 50cm has a toptube of 52.3mm.
Note that both sizes shares a similar seat angle at 75 deg.

Cheers

Got bored and been having ww bug of late..

Some minor changes to the drivetrain, apologies to those who will oppose to the upcoming update..
*then again, this is Weightweenies, hence the attempt is to built the lightest ever Master X-Light while retaining a flair of retro-modern

Current weight is 6950 gr, with Std Gen3, pedals and Mavic skewers.
Not sure how much it will weight post changes :?:

here you go..

Rather than going mad with AX Ultra 800gr, I opt for the Gen3 Obies :wink:

This is going a bit extreme WW with this beautiful steel frameset.

I'm with @LionelB here... there's finely done, and over done. Sometimes knowing when to stop gets the win. Perhaps if you've really got the WW bug, you should start a new project with a proper WW frameset, and keep this beauty pure and simple.

In fact, I think the ultimate wheelset for this build would be a set of Nemesis rims laced to Record hubs (silver spokes and nipples) shod with a pair of Veloflex Roubaixs. The tan sidewalls would really complement the gold on the frame. Done! Then leave perfection alone and start a new project if you must.

@Calnago, LionelB

Well said, and I do agree.

The main purpose however is merely an attempt to drop the weight as much as possible while retaining decent aesthetics, functionality. No problems reverting to the original SR setup should the conditions require it.

And by the way it will be on Veloflex Record front/Sprinters rear with tan sidewalls :thumbup:

cheers!

Work in progress.
Been moving back and forth between Hiroshima and Tokyo as of late, hence the lack of time as well as trouble receiving the items :(

First off, installation of the chainring on the Clavicula, 6Nm, with TA Specialites bolts.
497grs with BB Cups vs Campagnolo SR Ti's 635gr with cups.

As for the Obies B.E, it's currently in transit on its way to Japan.

@justkeepedaling,

Here's the link to the torque wrench.

http://www.effettomariposa.eu/en/produc ... ro-deluxe/

Good investment if you do your own wrenching, especially on weight weenie components.

@caballero,

I do race, however not so much lately due to work.
If you happen to drop by Tokyo, send me a PM and I'll hook up with my team mates for a ride to the mountains west of Tokyo.

Here's what I race on
