Nice frame! I can't wait to see this build!

I would also want to avoid the red logos on the Campy stuff - check out the tune stuff - the Tune head set might be the ticket as it has tasteful and classic logos in my opinion . I have one on my C50 and really like the design and function.

Enjoy the build :thumbup:

There is still plenty of 2010 record and super record stuff around, they do not have much in the way of red on them

Beautiful frame, I have enjoyed my colnago master for since '85

Saddle, pedals (still have the campy golf club heads) and tires are the only non original parts,

The headset will be a Chris King 1inch, Sotto Voce all black.
I think I'll stick to Campagnolo brake calipers rather than weight weenie brakes.

My target is to have it at 16lbs without too many weenie parts. Hopefully it won't be too difficult.

@kgt,

thanks. yep, saw the custom blue Master in one of the threads.
guess it weighs somewhere between 15 to 16lbs?

@Montana,
in order to reduce it below 15lbs, i will probably opt for a ww brakeset, most likely a
Ciamillo Negative G, or perhaps an AX Orion?

Looking forward to the finished build on this one. Definitely needs tan sidewall tyres; it will look great against the black and gold.

Also love the blue Nago posted by KGT. The only thing wrong with that bike is the chain on the wrong ring.

@KB,
Not into tan sidewalls, especially on tires.
I'm a Conti guy, so Competition it will be :)

@cmh,
That's definitely a good weight for a Master.
Btw how much does your AX wheels weigh in?

Cheers!
