@giant man,

Well, still in the midst of gathering some parts.
cmh's 15lbs master will be the benchmark.

A combo saddle+seatpost has been made, this would reduce the weight further
by 100grams.

This bike needs those limited edition gold lightweights. C'mon, do it!

With custom decals in gold - in real the gold looks much better, sorry for the crappy photo.

@sugarcane,

Spot on :wink:
Extralite OC stem with Easton EC90 bars, 75mm reach.
The rest of the build will be stock, standard Campy 11 groupset.

Unfortunately there won't be any gold Lightweight for this built, way off my budget! :|

Easton Ec90? I think you should get Deda campione. This bike should have classic bend bars.
.
.
.
Let me rephrase that. This bike NEEDS classic bend bars! :lol:

Again a beautiful piece by Berk. It will match the frame great, and it's really nice to sit on too :beerchug:
As for the wheels, I would go for some with a 35mm or less profile. Hyperons would be great.

Looking forward to see the build go on, and congratulations on such a wonderful frame

the problem with the campione is its a hybrid classic bend with very little usable drop & an awkward transition to the hood - it doesn't really live up to the hype.

Easton bars, not the most 'fitting' of all compared to say shallow classic bend bars..I agree.

Reason I'm choosing Easton is due to my preference towards 75mm reach, as opposed to classic shallow bars which has a reach exceeding 80mm or more.
Additionally, Easton has a rounded, non-ergo bend as well (love those rounded bends).

I do have Deda Shallow bars in 31.8, as well as Millennium Strada shallow bars in 25.4mm as standby. Both weigh in access of 240grams.
The Easton comes in a little north of 190grams. Pretty decent I would say.

Cheers!
