I think aesthetically, the Extralite stem is a lot more pleasing for this build. Even on my build,I preferred the dark gloss black alloy stem over the carbon weave.

@RyanH,

Thanks for the comment.
Bike is fitted with the "revised" -12deg Hyperstem now.

Not sure what else can be done with this build?
On occasions, there were some thoughts of going back to Campy Record 10s lol..
Aesthetically, the "less bulky" ergo shifters on the Record 10s may be a little more fitting?

It's a strange feeling when there's nothing left to alter on the bike, isn't it? I've been ogling at aero bikes these days since I'm pretty much done building out my dream WW build (Berk combo will be here tomorrow). #fueltheaddiction

@fletch62,
Thanks! But it's probably too bling for the bike?
That aside, have not ridden the Master for a long time..

Cheers

Lol...
Similar cages do pop up once in a while in eBay...but being metal, it's going to weigh three times more than the current Elite Patao..hmm

First, I think the bike is perfect.

Second, if you really want to change something, maybe try finding a less bulky stem. Maybe even a quill one, even if it weighs more (sacrilege!).

I would not use golden parts, that would just take away from the frame and make it look cheap quickly.

Edit: here is a custom stem that could serve as inspiration http://www.cxmagazine.com/bruce-gordon- ... nahbs-2012

Thanks for the compliment, bike is now four years old!

@HillRPete,
that's one classy looking stem, thanks for sharing :)
Will looking into that should I intend to change to a different one..
+1 on putting too much gold parts on the build.
Nonetheless, thanks to all for the ideas.

Cheers
