Is there enough clearance ?
Also has the 2017 changed slightly in the smaller sizes .Mine is a 52cm myself . I've heard a rumour that the seat tube is shorter and the top tube is sloping ?
I've been running a 28mm Conti 4 season on my Caad10 this winter.
Had no issues while riding - just have to be carefull when going through mud and gritt because it tends to get stuck on the tyre and scratch the inside of the fork :/

Been a very long time since I contributed anything so thought I should get back into it!
Sorry for the crappy phone pic. Since finishing up working at Giant at the start of the year I am back on my trusty CAAD10 Black Inc. I inherited some 2nd Gen Mavic R-Sys off a mate (swapped for original Ultegra wheels and brakes) and also an older Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost (light sanding of logos to continue the semi-stealthy theme).
Ultegra brakes made way for a set of DP Records I had left over from a previous build. (This is also a pre-specced hope that I can some day afford a Record EPS upgrade kit ). I also have a 27.2 Record Seatpost that can be put on for when that day arrives!
Quick spec highlights:
2013 CAAD10 Black Inc
Ultegra D12 6700
Mavic R-Sys SLR
Pro PLT Stem/Pro Vibe 7S Round Bars
Speedplay (Ward Spindles)
Fabric Scoop Flat Carbon
Hollowgram SLs/Praxis Rings
Cheers

looks very tidy (and would be even better with EPS!) - better pics please!
Here's my CAAD9 build. Got the frame 2nd hand from Carytown Bicycle Company in the US and added an Ultegra groupset from my crash damaged TCR. It was initially meant to be a winter training bike, and therefore not too fancy, but ended up getting carried away on ebay etc. Using it for crits and training at the moment. Just under 8kg without pedals/cages.
Spec:
Frameset: CAAD9 58cm
Chainset: 105 165mm (replaced Ultegra 172.5mm on advice of my physio)
Group: Ultegra 6700
Wheelset: Stayer Cycles carbon rims 50/60mm on Hope Mono RS hubs with Sapim cx-ray spokes (1550g).
Stem: Zipp Sprint SL
Seatpost: Zipp Speed SL
Bars: Zipp Service Course Ergo SL70
Tape: Zipp Service Course
Saddle: Arione CX
Pedals: Speedplay cro-mo
Tires: GP 4000 25mm
Tubes: Continental Supersonics
Cheers

What width rims are you running? My guess is a wider rim will pull the tire lateral and thus less high up to the fork?

Oh, it's all right. I'm sure that we can handle this situation maturely, just like the responsible adults that we are. Isn't that right, Mr... Poopy Pants?
