Hi Marco, this is a great looking CAAD10. I particularly like the black on black "Cannondale" on the top tube. Is this a Black Inc. frame with originally green "Cannondale" lettering at that position, or is it the frame used for the Ultegra version? Either way, how did you remove the original logos and stripes?

What would be the safest and most gentle way to remove logos and graphics from an anodised frame? Acetone?

I have a 60cm 2013 Black Inc and removed most of the Gold logos from the frame using acetone. The only one that took a while was the big "10" on the head tube. I ended up leaving the "Black Inc." logo on the top tube, the gold stripe that runs from the seat tube down to the bottom bracket, and the "10" on the inside of the fork by the skewer just to show what it was originally. I also placed a brushed stainless "C" headbadge on there from Cannondale experts. Here's a recent picture with my Ultegra wheels, if you look closely you'll see the "10" on the inside of the fork right next to the quick release. Oh yeah, new carbon clinchers coming soon and if I can find a deal on one, a hollowgram crank would look nice.

I haven't found a single Caad 10 with that color scheme, that looks good. Not in this topic, not anywhere else. Has anyone seen a Caad 10 with this color that looks good?

@Slagter add a classic handlebar and any bike can look good :). Even better with the lines of a CAAD10 !

My old Cad3 R4000 from 1997. Still love riding it. 6.6kg (14.6 lbs) as it sits and nothing crazy light on the bike. I have bought and sold many bike frames but managed to keep this one through the years.

Incoming - already has Sugino cranks and H Plus Sons wheels, but I'm thinking Thompson post and stem, maybe fabric Alm saddle, dura ace pedal, Sram Red front brake... Picking it up Tuesday from a shop guy selling it.
