Not everyone is built to handle straight extensions and they are definitely not the bar to use for long events. If you look at the top 15 bikes from the Ironman on Slowtwtich most have s bends. If would definitely cause me some wrist issues.

I made the comment assuming he is able to use straight extensions, because on the Scott Plasma of his, he has that type of aerobar extension.

it's only an esthetic carbon protect the chainring behint it it's only an original o'symetric one :wink:

Some beautiful TT bikes there.
Bought this TT bike start of 2011. Agron 18 e112, 105 shifters etc, Oval a900 carbon bars with carbon extensions, Dura ace cranks, Rotor Q ring, Token 85mm front wheel & FFWD disc.
Plan on upgrading from 105 to ultegra or DA and a matching FFWD front wheel.
