Nope, at the moment just keeping sane, have started jumping on the TT bike once I get home from road rides and spinning on the LeMond. Time to sort shit out and get back to the plan.

Yeah I'm 8-10 hours a week on the TT + erg at the moment. Right now 1 long ride on the road 4+ hours. Being in the TT position just feels natural. My power is the same now across both bikes, I just need to work on getting more aero. I have Kruijswijk wide shoulders thanks to years in the pool.

Do you run a deep front training? I've always been to lazy to adjust the front brake so its always an 808 front haha.

I swap my 808 for a 404.. i should train on aluminium rims i have but they look pants... as ill never race on a 404 i dont mind training on it...

In fact I bought a second TT bike purely to train on.

Replicated by race bike position and ride it as often as possible.

It works.

In other news, broke a local 10m TT course record set by a former national champ last night.

Single carriageway, fairly quiet traffic, semi decent road surface. Gift hill start though.

18:53, CR by 16 seconds. First 18 on that course.

Thanks Tom. It's my 3rd '18' so far. 2nd this year.

I think it's a combination of very specific and well researched equipment choices, optimised aerodynamics and of course an increase in power.

Allied to strong pacing strategys, it all adds up to be what appears a great package.

Aerolab data suggests .17x but that's no doubt traffic assisted and wind affected.
