This is a fantastic build. The S5 looks as beautiful as it is fast.

Wow... I'm definitely debadging the Madfibers if I end up buying them. Good thing they peel off easily, the demo set I'm running right now has a lot of the stickers peeling off without me touching them. I'm still not sold on the appearance of the carbon weave, but damn they're an awesome and fast wheelset.

I've uploaded an album of pictures on Flickr, link in the first post. I'm not the best photographer, but I tried to capture some of the details.
A few subtle things I noticed while photographing:
- Headtube has an hourglass shape
- Frame tapers off from the front, coming together at the edge, resembling a knife blade viewed vertically
- The huge bottom bracket bulging out from the non-drivetrain side
- Decals have a raised feeling to them, unlike the S2 which felt smooth
Toe overlap issue is gone with the new geometry, and bottles are much easier to get out of the frame, compared to the S2.

167 cm tall, 78 cm inseam.
The setup in the first picture is a little different now. The saddle's now on the rear hole, and it's been effectively pushed back 8 cm. The seatpost has been raised by just under 1cm, and the stem was changed from a 90mm to 110mm.

I think you mean 8 mm! Thanks for the info. I think I might be a 54. Reach on the 54 is even less than my present bike by 7mm- and that's a 52.

Are you ok? So sorry to hear!
Those Madfibers are really growing on me ... they make the best of a frame that I'm usually not entirely ecstatic about. Well done!

very sorry to hear about your accident. Get well soon!
It's nothing short of a miracle after being t-boned by a Chrysler 300 at 30km/h, I made it out without a single scratch and just a few bruises. I'll be ready to get back on a bike tomorrow.
But anyways, my S5 will be reborn and come back badder than ever. The claim is in the insurance company's hands and my LBS is doing a fine job getting me through the process.
Here's a few new parts for the soon-to-be resurrected bike:
KCNC brakes:
Look Keo Blade 16s (will upgrade to titanium axles eventually):
Zipp Vuka Sprint handlebars:
Spoiler: An upgrade to a VWD frame may be happening...
