So this isn't really a WW bike at all as it's hard to get the weight down on it on my current budget. It's essentially the build that it came with bar a few added items.

I love riding this bike, it's a point and shoot ride, inspires you to push it hard descending and for me it's light enough to blast uphills too. I'm about 5'7 I think and about 69kg, can't climb that well but can sprint pretty good and hold a decent speed onthe flat for extended periods of time. It's my first carbon bike. So here it is:

09 Colnago CLX1 Frame
09 Campag Centaur Carbon 10 speed shifter
09 Campag Centaur Carbon cranks 172.5mm
Rotor Rings 53/30
KMC X10SL Gold chain
09 Campag Centaur alloy brakes
09 Campag Centaur Carbon front DR
09 Campag Centaur Carbon rear DR
09 Campag Centaur 12-25 cassette
Fiber-Lyte 2gm inner cage - 2gms
No name carbon pulley wheels 8 grams in total
Ti pulley bolts 1.5gms
Custom built (Wheelworks NZ) Enve 45 Clinchers (total weight 1370gms)
Enve rim strips - will swap for Stans when I get around to it
Alchemy ELF front hub 20 hole
DT Swiss 240 rear hub 24 hole
DT Swiss Aerolite bladed spokes
Pillar internal nipples
Torpedo7 Ti skewers
Michelin latex tubes
Conti GP4000s clinchers
Tune Bobo Headset
Tune Gumgum + carbon cap
FSA Wing carbon wrap bars (heavy as f*ck)
FSA OS115 stem 110mm - ti bolts
Lizard Skin bar tape
Gore Ride-On professional gear cables and housing
Campag brake cables and housing
Selle Italia SLR Kit Carbonio
Speedplay Zero Cromo - redoing these with Ward ti spindles and eventually ti bolts and bowties
Mt Zoom carbon bottle cage (on down tube) & nylon bolts - 14gm in total
No name carbon cage (different holding design as the Mt Zoom design was too annoying on the seat tube) & nylon bolts 16gm

Current weight is 7.4kg so no lightweight. My favourite parts are obviously the wheels which I could be happier with, Tristan is an amazing wheelbuilder and a hugely knowledgable mechanic! I love how the black and white decals match the frame. I was investigating getting stealth black Enve decals but I decided I like how these look

I eventually will get a carbon saddle, Vredestin latex tubes, Veloflex tubulars, hopefully some KCNC C7 brakes and lighter stem and bars, but they are onthe long list of things to buy in the future

So after I took the original photos, I discovered a crack in the right fork blade. It was the original fork with alloy steerer. This is now swapped for a carbon steerer Colnago CLX Carbonio fork that my LBS had spare which came in at 368 grams. Photo with the new fork is towards the bottom.

Nice build. A big weight saving will come from swapping handlebars.
It is pointless saving grams here and there doing all the small things and then having heavy bars.

Nice looking bike, enjoy riding it :welcome:

The accumulation of marginal gains is what makes the difference between winning and losing

Yeah you're right on the bars. They're weight some stupid weight like 360gms! I can near half that If I shop around and wait a bit. I can probably cut some of the seatpost too as that is pretty long with quite a bit still in the bike.

The other changes I listed were mainly for comfort cosmetic really and not to do with weight, but they help. I might eventually go to iLink for braking but yeah, minimal gains really.
