First, I'm a clyde (110kgs). I aspire to be a weight weeny, but I also have a few priorities. I need a bike with clinchers due to the poor roads in Arkansas. Also, I can't have parts that are too flimsy due to my weight. So, I'm aiming for a sub-15lb bike that is somewhat robust and easy to work on. The sub-14lb and sub-13lb bikes here are breath-taking, but not practical in my shoes.
To that end I've ordered a number of parts. I'm pulling my hair out trying to save weight on this rig while not sacrificing durability and comfort. Advice is greatly appreciated. Note I'm not attempting any "TUNING" at this time. I'm reserving those actions for phase II. All items are new and purchased through retailers. Prices are rounded to the nearest dollar and include shipping costs.

Frameset: 1940g after cutting -Verified - Hongfu - FM039 3K/Glossy finish frameset NON-ISP (56cm), hangers, fork, clamp, seatpost, headset bearings - $660.
Brakeset: 189g -Verified - For Sale Forum - Zero Gravity Ti - $175
Total: 6,711g - $3,874.00
--------------------------------
She's at 14.794lbs on paper from a parts only perspective (without air in the tires). With air in tires, dirt/moisture on/in frame...it's below 14.900lbs.
Someone asked how easy it was to string up the cables using the in-frame cable routing. To tell you the truth it was the easiest wiring job I've ever done. I could do it blind folded. There's actual cable housing molded into the frame. That would explain the extra weight of the frame (1226g). I think a 5yo could wire this bike.
Looking for a tuning kit for my rear mech. Help on that front would be appreciated.

She would look sweet as honey with some 50mm tubby carbons. My goal is to stay clincher.
Wish I could get it below 14 pounds, but think that would require a lot more investment. Plus, I want to use solid components that don't require much, if any, maintenance.

Congrats. Hurry up and get it on the road.
The Red crank tests well, but isn't a lightweight. Look at Lightning, Vuma, etc.
Consider swapping SRAM's cables for iLinks, Powercordz, etc.

Velocity hubs: 78 + 256 = 334g
Soul (Kozak) hubs: 52 + 185 = 237g
There's also a cheaper Soul hub with 59g but you win almost 100g. Didn't check on the price of the Velocity hubs, but the Soul ones are on the more affordable side -- at least in their weight class.
Bikes: Raw Ti, 650b flatbar CX

I weigh 110kgs and using lighter hubs is a stretch. Did order a new wheelset using AC hubs
Also, using IRD Cadence rims on the rear is probably a mistake. I'm 100% certain I'll burn through the rear rim in no time. At which time I'll replace it with a Velocity Synergy OC. That's not a typo...Velocity Synergy OC.
The Synergy is a pig (490g), but it's bomb proof (idiot proof in my case). I'll gain 90g, but I'll figure out how to loose weight somewhere else. Could swap out the brakes to shed the 90g...we will see.

The seat and stem arrived.
Seat is 155mm wide and less than 159g. That's using a Fedex scale which probably isn't accurate. Though it looks nice and comfy
The stem has a shiney front cap...which I don't like. You would have thought I'd have noticed that from the start. Though for me to fit a 56cm frame I need a LONG stem and a fair amount of drop (-17)...that's how we roll
Trying to stick with Serfas SecaRS tires...they aren't sexy, but they work really well. That's speaking of the NEW SecaRS (post-2009 model). The old model sucked big time (pre-2010).
The new Seca-RS tires are brilliant. I could argue they are road tires disguised as training tires. They are smartly designed with thick casing...then small groves cut into the sides to appear to create tread, but really it just reduces the weight of the tire as a whole. So, you have a tire with thick tread, but light weight. They should be given an award for "smartest tire".
More to come...

Granted I'm guessing on the "high" side for all the components, but I don't want to build it up and be extremely disappointed. Have faith in God, but keep your sandpaper handy!
I could go Conti Super Prix with tires/tubes, but I want to keep it real. I weigh 110kgs...I really want reliable/comfortable tires/tubes, wheels and seat.
I like it. Looks similar to my Giant Tcr Advanced especially the seatpost, seatstays, chainstays.

That's a sweet ride
You put her on the scales?
Speaking of scales..I've order a digital scale so I can better record my progress. Also, I'm going to order a digi cam so i can take pics.

I take it the pictures are to show the build kit that will go on the new frame?
I'm very interested in the frameset, please post a report (with pictures of course) when it's ready!

Yes, delivery on items has been very slow. I suspect the flooding in and around Memphis isn't helping matters (Fedex distribution center).
Sorry for the grainy photos, but it's the only digi I have.
