These are my current bikes.

None of them are really light, as my main goal with each build has been to keep it conventional and solid. But as an avid weightweenie reader, I been quite inspired over the years and consciously chosen lighter parts when upgrading. But at the same time, I'm becoming more and more interested in steel and titanium bikes: Yeah, I'm currently in that phase.

The road bike is about 7,4kg.

The "commuter/mountainbike" is about 11,5kg, but that's just a guess.

Ik like the CR1 ... but which parts make it so damn heavy?
What do those wheels weight?

The rims are about 445g each, the hubs are at 125g and 265g respectively. Add Sapim Laser spokes all around except Race on the drive side and you have a 1650g+ bulletproof wheelset.

And I wouldn't call it "damn heavy". I could easily shed a about 200g on changing the saddle and seatpost. Currently Fizik Arione (245g) and Ritchey WCS 1-bolt 31.6/400mm (255g).

Well ''damn heavy'' is a bit exaggerated but I would expect the bike to weight less considering the frame, Sram Force and the Ritchey WCS stuff and the light weight brakes...
