Built up with parts from my stripped Colnago Master Olympic, an age-old ambition...to own what Roger De Vlaeminck rode! The handling is super sure, very comfortable and it looks stunning in the flesh. I went with Athena 11 as one of the few modern groupsets that compliments classic / vintage frames, and I haven't ridden downtube shifters since I was 13!!!

Is the left shifter lower than the right on purpose?

It's a lovely build, but I think the jacked up handlebar and shifter angle really doesn't suit it.

Thanks guys, very kind of you. She's great to ride...the handling is very sure, and the cruising speed feel on the flat is glorious.

@monkeyboy, that is a Campagnolo original aero water bottle. Nice bike, always had a soft spot for Gios. How much does it weigh?
