Please see below my new baby, after lots of sleepless nights and talking to people and builders trying to make decisions on frame and build finally my C59 has arrived, was a special order gloss black frame, originally wanted matte black but due to waiting times and getting lucky with UK distributor I was talked in to going for the gloss black which I'm very happy with now, only thing is the retailer still sent me matte black seat post however I'm sure that will be rectified soon. Still waiting on a few parts in pedals and seat and then bike will be built.

Current ride in a Giant Rabobank Advanced SL ISP model so hoping this will be a huge step up in quality

This frame is KILLER. I'm jealous. Don't worry about the post. The Colnago post is heavy, a pain to adjust and your cockpit is 3T so... a 3T Dorico would look mighty fine!

Final build should be pretty awesome. You're going to love that 3T tape BTW.

Yes seat post will be exchanged and Gatorskins were my choice due to puncture proofing, I want to ride plenty on the Bora's, I realize they are not the lightest tyres however would rather that and limit the chances of getting stuck in middle of nowhere with a puncture.

Thanks for positive posts, pics will be posted once complete.

Yes. It's going to be a very nice build. I would second grid256's comment about using a 3T Dorico post. I've got the LTD and with the 3T bars and stem it finishes it off nicely. Can't wait to see it all built up.

This will be a stunning build. I do second Coloclimber's comment re: the Gatorskins though...
Road bike: Cervelo R3, Campagnolo Chorus/Record mix...
Supercommuter: Jamis Renegade...
Oldie but goodie: De Rosa Professional Slx, Campagnolo C-Record...
And you can call me Macktastik Honey Pete Kicks, thank you.

Congratulations!!!
This is very nice color option. It would be my choice if it would be available when I got my C59.

I am with Calnago on the post. Don't use the standard post. Since using 3T kit up fron you should go with 3T post.

I used full 3T kit on my bike and it looks great.

Can wait to see it finished.

This build promises to be what dreams are made of. Jealousy ensues.

This will be great, a real modern classic. Deserves better tyres though!

Take your comments on board everyone regarding tyres however these tyres fitted my selection criteria being for the roads i ride on and how much riding I hope to do on the Bora's until I can get a nice set of clincher climbing wheels with Cycleops Powertap Hub

more parts arrived today
