Congratulations !

I'm sure your bike will be perfect. Why not choose the cranckset with titanium parts and red logos ? Don't you think it would be a great match for the rest of the parts ?

By the way, I'm also in the right path regarding the assembly of mine. Take a look here. http://www.pbase.com/smera/colnago_c59_mtbk

All the luck and best regards.[/quote]

Smera, first of all love your ride, looks awesome, few things i would change but this is why we build bikes because we all like it the way we want it and enjoy it.

Couldn't justify the extra $$$ just for a red label, plus the titanium crank is not to my liking and i don't see many pro's running it so thought i would spend $$$ elsewhere.

a new ultimate seatpost would look the dogs on that frame and weighs v.v.little.

Superb build by the way - the best mate for Campag SR, am v. jealous :x

Like the clarity of the entire build - especially with the competitions on. BTW I haven't flatted on veloflex clinchers with michelin tubies yet. Conti seems to have a reputation amongst LBS as the most puncture resistant tires. I used 4 seasons for 3 years on my commuter, the wear rate was good and rarely flatted in combo with schwalbe tubies, they didnt roll as well as veloflex though.

That's a mighty fine ride you are building there. May I ask what the weight of the frame is?

Don't forget to weigh the frame before it's assembled!
