SCOTT PREMIUM - 6910G

Hello ww friends ...
This is our new official racing bike for 2011, build with a Scott Premium frame. The frame was given to us by the official Scott importer in Brazil, for testing and promocional purposes, and is going to be returned after season. Meanwhile, we enjoy the bike to it's fullest, and hope for minimum frame damage by the end of season.
6.910g with Extralite + FRM rims ...
6.590g with Tune KK + AX rims ...

The frame weight on scale with the plastic stuff reaches exact 898 grams ... Quite awesome for this premium version. We saved a lot of weight on THM PF92 bearings, installed directly on the frame (-38g from original THM GXP BB).
We didn't use the botton Ritchey PRO tapered headset adapters. We produced an alloy adapter to convert tapered into direct tune bubu bearings house ...

Difference between huge 1/5 frame headtube and minimalistic fork crown is quite ugly and gold labels on Claviculas don´t fit color scheme of black - white and red .. anyway.. whole bike is awesome, beatiful and lightweight... really love it great job
Not exactly pure Weightweenie.... but still crazy enought to hunt every possible gram (used to be, but still like reasonably light bikes )

Stunning bike ! I think the first pic is way better and I love that. It is wallpaper stuff But the AX rims are super sexy, so I would take the dugast tyres snd put them on the AX rims Dugast are way more nicer than the ugly tufos Those innolite discs are real lookers!

But the brake cables seems too long and the brake cable routing for the front brake is really bad!
Yes, brake cables were still uncut cause I was deciding between white and black models ...

This clavicula is the 1/20 of this Gold label edition. I have here another "normal" one, but Scott preffer the special edition to use as advertising. Anyway, claviculas are still "rare" in Brazil. I complete agree with you about the huge headtube, but while we don't live options for this default headset, this was the solution that we found. Maybe soon DT start selling new XMC with carbon crown and steerer for tapered headsets. Thanks 4 ur words.

Yes, this is long. It was a choise, cause this bike is going to race ... The main goal wasn't make the lightest possible.

Congratulations !
But how did you do to put a Calvicula crankset (which has 42mm diameter bearings) on this frame (which has 41mm diameter bottom bracket) ?
Thanks

We must be in Bizarro world when a mountain bike weighs less than a road bike.
Specialized Allez 06' "Rain Bike" 21.50lbs
Neuvation F100 11' "Road Bike" 16.80lbs
Specialized Tarmac Pro 11' "WW Bike" 14.25lbs
