Black Tie Affair TT bike

Finally got this built and on the road last night. What a difference from my 2001 TiPhoon. Like it or not I'm becoming a believer in this new fangled "Carbon Fiber" stuff, but I'm still not sure if it will last

Ride report:
Full Disclosure I Rep for QR now so that was the reason for the Change form the TiPhoon (which will live on as a SS townie)
This bike is noticeably faster than my old TT ride. It is very stiff in the BB and the and seems to climb a lot better. I'm not really sure about the geometry changes from my old Rig, but my contact points (stack and reach) are the same, although my had position has changed on this new bike. All you UCI guys won't care but I ride this bike 2cm in front of the BB and have no stability issues at all even at close to 30 mph coming down a shallow grade on my regular ride. Cross winds are handled extremely well even and I don't get pushed around at all. Easily rideable and comfy for 112 miles at my next IM (if I don't have an Illicito by then)
BTW those 3T Aura bars are rock solid when out of the saddle. the only thing I'm not happy with are the mushy PD Brake levers. the bushing system that holds the lever in place is very sloppy an they are not as positive as i think they should be.
I'll be running a Reynolds Clincher disc and 66c front and can't wait to see the difference between a good clincher and the tubies I've loved to run the past 7 years.
Cheers
