I always wanted a Roberts...did it have a steel fork originally? If so do you have it as it would look great on instead of the current carbon?

Hi, yes it did came with Steel forks and I still have them. You reckon it will look better with the steel fork? Kind of looks a bit weak with them :)

Just finished rebuilding a custom Reynolds 653 frame I've owned since 1991. Upgraded the groupset to DA 7800, polished the cranks, fitted Stronglight chainrings to give it a more classic look, Chris King BB, headset and hubs in Pewter colour, wheels built using HPlus Son TB14 rims and DT Competition spokes, tied and soldered on drive side, San Marco Regal leather saddle, DiPell leather bar tape, Cinelli bar and stem. Seatpost is a Thomson Elite, Painted to match the bike as the black didnt tie in with the build. i might try a polished alloy post to see how it looks. i have Veloflex gumwall tyres ordered. I'm running Speedplay pedals at present as all my bikes run Speedplay, but I have a set of DA 7800 pedals I am thinking of setting up on the bike.

What's up with that Serotta? Did the seat tube broke?
