That's a great blend of classicism and modernity.

Dammit! That is a nice bike. Never knew the 6800 crank would fit so nicely on skinny tubing frame.

What hubs are those?

My guess is the 6800 hubs, since the wheels look brand new and the hubs match the groupset so perfectly. Looks damn good!

Dammit, this is one sweet bike...
A light bike does replace good fitness.

Thanks chaps- it turned out quite nicely.

Would anyone know what year it is likely to have been built?

Just got this and took it out for the first ride.

The saddle was one i had going spare but is broken so needs to be replaced. Not sure whether to stick with white or not.

Same with cages - they'll be changed for something nice eventually.

I think long term i'll be running Lew VT-1 wheels and a VumaQuad crank, and no garmin - should get it to about 6.8kg.

I was planning on using it for social rides but it was so nice yesterday i'll probably end up doing the odd race on it...

It's a Pro Stealth Evo bar/stem which was modded by Ruckus Components to have internal Di2 cables and junction box. bit of a fiddle to connect everything but looks sweet.

Some more photos of it as it was originally built at http://www.englishcycles.com/custombikes/aero-road-di2/

6.8 with Lew wheels? Seems a bit heavy.

They're not the full Lew wheels, just the rims on Tune hubs so about 1050g. Set up as in the photo it is almost 7.8kg. 600g on the wheels, 300g on the cranks and another 100g from somewhere...

JamieL, that bike needs its own dedicated thread.

And no one noticed one of the finer details on that Serotta, the custom ti quill Serotta stem.
I have one of those very stems sitting in a spare box and think it is time to rebuild my old steel frameset...

Very nice build there
