I want to ask users who have steel bike about fork.

I never ride on carbon fork, or even carbon frame, but i am about to made my custom steel road bike. I am before decision -steel fork (columbus max) or carbon fork (columbus fel) on the bike.
Is there really difference in riding, feeling etc. in these two forks beside weight?

I would say go for a steel fork but maybe a Columbus max fork will be too heavy and less springy.

weight difference between forks is around 300 g. so not big deal for steel bike. but exacly - what is the difference in feeling?

Decided I'm going to take my 853 steel compact road frame to a raw finish...will clear powdercoat to minimise rust...pretty sure my frame weighed approx 1600gms prior...
