The Rossin Professional remains unbuilt at the moment as I'm currently focussing on building the 55 Anniversary Colnago Master X Light.

The lack of space here in Tokyo is also another factor holding me back.

It's gonna quite a while before I proceed with the Rossin, unfortunately

This being one of my favorite threads on the forum, I think it is time to make a small contribution. Although I mainly sell frames from the famous Italian brands (Colnago, Pinarello, etc.) I personally like frames from the smaller brands a lot more. Especially those built in the late 90's / early 2000.

Here are my two personal favorites. A Casati Armonia (Columbus NEMO) and a SOMEC Mercury. Both feature beautifully executed fully internal cable routing, fillet-brazed tubing, a uni-crown fork and an amazing paint job. I forgot to weigh in the Casati, but the weight of the SOMEC frame is 1830 grams.

The Casati is definitely pretty! Columbus Nemo, fillet brazing+lugged?
Didn't know that Nemo tubes can be brazed as well. It looks like Genius from
afar.

Not sure how much it weighs, but it's all steel through and through. Well, aside from the carbon and alloy bits here and there.

Not mine.
Not a complete bike.
But it is steel.

Everything I love. Understated. It looks and must be rock solid. Round pipes, old school headset. I even like that welded Max fork.

Just wanted to share because I'm sure that guys hanging around here will like it too.

If anybody knows a complete setup with some shallow bars, Campa Record, Concor and box tubular wheels... please share!
