Anyone still have a steel bike?

Yep, I like steel bicycles. None of mine are particularly light but...
I ride:
Tommasini Diamante with Columbus MS tubing
Casati Laser 75th with Columbus Genius tubing
De Bernardi with ol' Columbus Thron tubing (my winter/rain bike; everyone needs a beater!(

A good day becomes a better day with a bicycle ride.

So do I. It's a misconception that because it's steel it has to be retro. A complete build can be done below 6.8, so steel is also modern.
I agree completely. The ride quality of a good steel frame, combined with top quality carbon parts makes for a bike that I can spend many hours on.

Nope. Just a cheap pair of Clement Strada LGG Road black/tan 25mm. I picked them up last summer and just sat on them for a year. It was all for looks, but I have put close to 1000 miles on them with no problems. On the wide HED Belgium+ rim I have been running them around 90 to 100PSI.

Cool. They look faaaat on those Belgium rims, like 27mm or so
With the steel frame and carbon parts that must be a flying carpet
