build number 3, first roadie for me, just quickly put some wheels and tires on to check a coule of things, i was suprised by the weight, its build for comfort not weight jet it came in at 1680 with king head set cups, considering its 61 c-t and has a 58 effective t.t. cant wait to ride it !!Image

Searching for some OTR frames in Reynolds 953/931 led me to Gosforth. I believe they source the frames from Ora Engineering, the same people who produce for Genesis, Rikelau etc.

A pleasure to deal with, so I thought it would be good to try and raise their profile a little...

Build list
Groupset: Campagnolo Chorus 2015
Chain: KMC X11-SL
Fork: Enve 2.0
Frame: Gosforth 931
Handlebar: 3T Ergonova Team Stealth
Tape: Lizard Skins DSP 1.8
Headset: Tune Bobo
Pedals: Shimano 6800
Saddle: Fizik Arione R1
Seatpost: 3t Stylus Team Stealth
Seatpost collar: JL Titanium Clamp
Stem:3T Arx Pro -17deg, 120mm
Tires: GP4000s II
Wheelset: H Plus Son Archetype / Miche Primato
Bottlecages: King Stainless

Total weight 8.01kg

I got an about as ugly as you can get Colnago Master X-Light, needs help but not pass up this deal.

I'll be keeping the frame and the Dura Ace 25th Anniversary group, the rest must go.

A few changes I made so far, mostly with parts I already had

all painted and ready to go, comes in at 8.00 kg but i didn't designed/build this frame/bike with weight in mind, slightly longer wheel base, taller headtube and room for 32mm tires its more of a coble moster than a hill meister, a near 400 gram saddle doesn't help either (-:how ever tre cimme next week followed by the ronde the week after.Image

michel2: awesome build! care to share the parts list? I'm wondering how you got to this weight with such a big frame
But I could be wrong

Nice! Very clean looks.

What kind of brakes & forks are you running for 32mm clearance?

front triangle is made out of life
35mm dt .65-.45.65-
31.8 mm tt .65-.45-.65
28.6 mm externaly butted seat tube
true temper s3 chain stays
reynolds seat stays, i planned on using s3 for rear triangle but i made a machine error that made me go back to my spare box.
the rear triangle is still veryy light at 400 gram for tubing only.the bb shell is machined internaly and the ritchey sicket dropouts are the lightest i have had in my hands.i picked them because they are an all time favorite dating back to steel stumpjumpers.all cable stops are ss limpets from darrell llewellyn
the fork is a columbus grammy slim.the c24 wheels arent heavy, everything dura ace except the 12-25 ultegra casette and casette, deda stem 120 mm and zipp sl bars, syncross ti seatpost brooks c13 sadle
finished 100 km ride yesterday, id say the frame feels as solid as my colnago extreme power but a lot more comfortable.i have ridden with campgnolo for the last 23 years and wanted to the 9000 group a go as well as the c24 wheels,i still like the campa ergonomics better but im loving the smooth gear change as well as the wheels ! all in all winner winner chicken dinner !

i havent fit 32 yet yet, but with the 25 vitirias i can still fit a full finger between the brakes and top of tire
