Very different bike. The master was a race steel bike. You definitely feel the road more. Very aggressive geometry. I did not have the master for long. I loved it but wanted to sell it so I can either get a Mapei master or c40. The pegoetti duende is much more comfortable. I got it used and it fits me like a glove. I have it pretty relaxed with a high head tube and high stack. It is a magic carpet ride, smooth, stiff and something special. Much smoother and glides over the road more than the master. You definitely felt the road with the master.

Even though it's steel it's relatively ligh. 7.67kg for my setup with the frame about 1500g. It's a special frame and I'm glad I was able to pick it up.

That's a pretty good weight and you sound very in love with it! Enjoy the ride!

I love Pegoretti paint jobs. What forks has it got? They look like carbon ones?

(After a quick google) ah, I didn't realise Pegoretti did their own forks.

Nice collection. Paint the green one red and then you'll have the full Giro d'Italia leaders' jerseys compliment.

Set up a little different now. Vlaanderens, Mini I-Links, Carbonworks cages, Lizard Skin 1.8 tape, shorter head tube, and some light tuning throughout. Sitting stout at 6.2kg. Heavier than a lot of the impressive weights throughout the forum but considering she's a tall girl and steel, I think it's a pretty respectable weight.

...very nice Stinner, however, the 6.2Kg weight isn't adding up for me. R U sure your scale is correct....isn't your tall steel frame alone in the 1700-1800 gram range? Not to mention what appear to be heavy Thompson stem and post. Just wondering....
