I don't have an official weight but I will guess a little over 8 kg as shown in the latest pictures.

New saddle and handlebar tape. The saddle is the same as I had in white, now it's just black... I think it looks better with black saddle and handlebar tape...

Now I'm thinking of sanding down the crankset and remove the graphics. I don't like the red "K", kinda sticks out and maybe remove the decals from the wheels or getting some black ones instead...

Your bike was one of the sexiest Supersixs I had seen with the white saddle and bartape. I still like the bike with the black but it has a COMPLETELY different look to it now. Not sure if I like it as much as the white but still dead sexy. I think a big improvement aesthetically would be getting new chainrings. Praxis all black rings would look great IMO. You are right, That Red on the crank arm needs to go.

Thanks... I like to try new things. I still have the white saddle so I can always change back. I would really like some new chainrings. I've considered Praxis and Stronglight CT2.

Hey Greenduck,

If you are gonna paint that chainring, use motip exhaust spray. The finish is tough as nails. I did the silver middle sections on my FSA rings on the road bike and they are nice. But I also did the rings and forks on my SS. It hasn't worn through at the teeth were it's in contact with the chain. Be sure to bake it for a little while for chainring.

Or just get Praxis rings, I'll be ordering some as a replacement soon.

The saddle and tape looks good. but it looked good with white saddle and tape as well. Will be easier to keep clean

With the black it looks just as good, but more sinister. I like both for different reasons.

Some of the decals are a bit worn from a crash last season where the front wheel dug down in some deep sand. So todays project will be removing the decals and sand down the crankset. I will post pictures when its done...

Now it is really moving in the right direction. A little too much going on in the first stages of this build...

It will be great with the crankset sanded down. And regarding the chainrings, I can highly recommend Stronglight CT2 - light and very stiff. And the price is less than half of what you will pay for the Praxis rings.

I know a guy i England, who makes some excellent decals - he made my matte black Enve decals. Super quality, and reasonable price. Let me know, if you want his email...

I had exactly the same thought as Bianchi. The bike looks completely different now. Still a SuperSix so I'm liking it..... But I guess I'm biased :D

Did some changes to get a more understated look...

- Removed decals from wheels
- Removed logos from Enve seatpost
- Removed logos and graphics from Deda Servizio Corse stem
- Sanded and clear coated the FSA SL-K Light BB30 crankset
