Not too many on here:

Record 11
P2M (52/36 Stronglight)
FSA bar and stem
Prologo Zero pas saddle
Deda Zero seatpost
Home made team tubulars (1225 grams)

7.4kg

The ride is nice and solid. A great bargain that makes for an excellent riding and racing machine.

Cheers,

Intriguing... could you post some higher definition pictures of the bike and tell us more about your tubulars?

Better resolution here:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/36089208@N08/9437765277/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The bike actually looks really sexy with a matte red paint and the black carbon weave.

The wheels are straight forward imported tubular rims on Novatech hubs and pillar aero spokes. Light enough, not too expensive and in 38mm, they make a very nice do it all wheelset for racing and training.

Cheers,

Chris

Bike looks great. Intriguing frameset indeed.
Can you post the frame size and weight of the frame / fork?

Yes, very nice and rare frame on here! Heavy for it's size, but weight isn't everything......or is it

Agreed and let's be honest, the frame is heavy, although, it wasn't bought looking at that aspect at all....

In the end, it's a great find and a not very common racing frame in my part of the world, which I like. Nothing like lining up for a race and all you see are Cannondales, Cervelo's, Specs and Trek. Great bikes I know, just too many. It's nice to explore other options sometimes when you can. I like other not as famous brands which I considered, however, this option was just a great deal so I am giving it a try and so far...pretty happy.

Agree! I ride a Fuji which is a fairly rare sight where I ride so I can understand and appreciate your feelings on it. It is a fine looking frame, for sure, and I am certain it rides well, which is really all that matters in the end......even though this is WW. :beerchug:

Voye,

You wrote "it's a great find and a not very common racing frame in my part of the world" so I'm a bit intrigued: where are you racing/riding?
Can you compare this frame to others that you have ridden in the past?
Would you be able to write up an objective review on it?

Thanks!

I ride and race in the very exotic and very remote location of Ottawa, Canada and the surroundings. There are a few Deda's on the road but really, they are a rare sight and none or maybe one in the races I have entered this year

I have owned several bikes/frames in the past 6 years...too many if you ask my wife... I actually went through the sad list as early as yesterday.

Of the ones worth mentionning: Cervelo R3 S2 and S1, Felt F1, Ridley Noah and Noah FAST (still have) and Helium, Scott CR1 Pro, Parlee Z5, Kuota Kebel, Cannondale CAAD 9 and 10 (still have).

I will try and write something objective in the next day as you are requested. For sake of quick comparaison, of all the bikes mentionned above, I would say the bike feels/rides somewhere between the Kuota Kebel and the Felt F1 (2010)

I didn't even know Deda made frames (disclaimer: I'm also an established idiot). Some great races up in Ontario & Quebec!
