I do like the paint on this frame. It looks really thick and heavy. I think if you combine this with all black components and high end stuff it will be a spectacular looking bike. Good luck with the build and have fun with it.

when i was in the pre-buying phase, images posted by shirshan, shinyboy and several others helped me decide. i genuinely try to pay that back now

if the paint doesn't appeal, your visit is hopefully not wasted - at least to appreciate the depth of precision and quality oozing from pegorettis

Great pics..... great looking frame(although still unsure of the extended headtube from an aesthetic point of view).

build slowly coming on. begun removing logos from the bars. there will be black bolts and no white logos when i'm done


seat post shim will be painted black.


couldn't locate resin downtube cable guides so painted alloy ones black. will also have black bolts


3T seat pin will be completely de-logo'd and again, the bolts in the picture will be black

Dumb ? perhaps, but why do you need to shim the seatpost?

its a sensible question
the marcelo has 29.4mm dia seat tube which really limits your choice of seat post. so i've gone for a 29.4>27.2mm shim to open up the choice.
