It's my first post on the introduce section. I'm from Belgium and sorry for my poor english ...

I have buy my first road bike 6 month ago. After some search i have choose the Giant TCR Composite 2 from 2011. Middle equipement but a good basic frame.

Here the spec of this bike from the Giant website :

After some rides, i decide to upgrade this bike to this actual version :

Thx !

For the wheels, it's a generic carbon rims. 56mm, not light ( 450 grams/rims ) and the hubs are a specificic model make by a Belgium local store.
The complete wheels weight 1450 grams.

I make some others pics soon.

Just for show you my last upgrade :

It's the WCS version of the new Ritchey C260 stem for 2012.
Not really easy to install but after 3 weeks of riding with this stem, i'm happy with this new purchase. It's light: 113 gr for the 120 mm version and the rigidity are good enough for me ( i'm a 95 kg rider for 189 cm )

I hope that Ritchey hurries up and releases the C260 here in the United States. I've been wanting one for my new (re)build of my replacement Cervelo frame. I am hoping that next week, after Interbike, they will be made available.

By the way, I am not usually a Giant fan but I love the way yours looks. Great component choice as well. Do tell us more about those hubs.

Very nice racy build!

I rode one of these built up with 105 at a Rabo corporate event on Friday. It didn't light the world on fire but at the same time I can see how it is a really good race tool. It's just one of those bikes that just goes where you want it too and is super stable. I have to say that I was impressed.

Even with the heavy parts it didn't stop me from winning the 'King of the Mountain' compeition...which doesn't mean too much when you're riding with a bunch of flat landers and live in the alps.

I wouldn't mind finding this frameset even in the alu to build up.
