Thanks!! I live in North San Jose and "work" in South San Francisco! I have not been able to find a LBS that is in the weight weenie know!

I will be checking your LBS out!!

Back in business with the Scott. My LBS shipped them the frame and Scott shipped a new one back within a few days. Very pleased with the quick turnaround time.

Nice quick turnaround time on the Scott!

Both bikes look fantastic.

Just wanted to get your opinion on the differences between the Flite and the SLR?
Comfort?
Position?
etc...

When I first get on the Flite, it feels a little softer, more comfortable. After an hour of riding, they both feel the same to me. Like if I didn't know, I couldn't tell the difference.

I like the SLR better since it looks better and is slightly lighter.

edit; spelling

That's a bummer about the derailleur tab Jason, good Scott (and your LBS) were looking out for you.
When I got my Addict I noticed that the derailleur tab was probably going to be the achilles heel. Mine has just a few stress cracks after 16,000 miles, but emanating very bottom of the tab only and appears to still be structurally sound.
Glad you posted your experience with it.
200 mile ride with 20,000 ft climbing is nuts. I like it.

That its awesome buddy! under 14 lbs!!!! I just ordered the full bike as my 09 BMC Pro Machine fell of my bike rack 2 weeks ago (cracked frame and rear Zipp broken in half)
I had SRAM Red on the BMC and the Addict R1 comes with Dura Ace. I am considering to switch to the SRAM red gruppo yet my shifters and the crank are all scratched up (may need a rear derailleur too)... but going with Red i know i'll cut some weight off the bike.
I have Zipps 404 (rear Zipp has been sent in for rebuilt)... wondering how much it'll weight if i go with Red since my frame its a size 49 (small guy over here LOL)

Fantastic bike! I am also an owner of '11 addict R1 and was wondering if you have experienced any creaking from the BB? Creaking from my R1 began shortly after my first ride (approximately 60mi). From what I understand it might be an odd long BB shell causing the BB to shift side to side.

Your addict is beautiful. I love mine but like all 2011 models the frame graphics are too pronounced, your grey is more subdued. I also have a CAAD 10 and have found it disappointing to ride.

Nope, no creaking from the BB yet.

I really like this bike because I think it looks all business, and the addition of the Quarq makes me like it even more for that same reason (despite the weight it may have added).

Thanks. Looks like she is 14.56 lbs, ready to race.

Got some work to do to get her back down to 14.

Any chance you have a weight on that crank setup? I have the old style Truvativ Rouleur with a Quarq and I'm wondering what kind of weight I could save with the new style.

Yes. I'd wait for the new SRAM Red Quarq. Those are supposed to be a good bit lighter.
