Nice looking bike. I have never ridden a Jamis to date; one day I will change that.
An upgrade to the crank will help drop the weight. As it stands now, nothing to balk at.
I hear you about the snow; I have 8" and temps in the single digits ... CX bike for a while for me.

Can drop about 250 grams with a crankset upgrade, so it's definitely something to consider. My heart hurt a little when I saw 16+ on the scale...getting it back in the 15 range by dropping a half pound would make me happy.
Ultegra is always a target, as well.

Updated the original post. According to Strava, the frame has almost 10k miles on it and I love it. I plan on riding it into the ground.
