So the bike is done. Here is my 2011 S-Works Tarmac. I chose the frame, the parts and built it the way I want. From here on will just be trial and error, bit by bit. Fizik Arione Carbon FX is 16g lighter than The Toupe with hollow Titanium rail. Whole bike as seen on picture weighs 13.63 lbs or 6.18kg.
Build list:
Handlebar- Easton EA90SLX
Bartape- Fizik Microtek
Stem- Ritchey WCS 4Axis (white)
Shifters- SRAM Red
Cables- Gore & SRAM
Saddle- Fizik Arione Carbon FX or Specialized Toupe Hollow Ti rail.
Seatpost- Deda Superzero White
Crankset- Zipp VumaQuad
Chain- KMC X10SL
Cassette- Recon 11-27
Front Derailleur- Dura Ace
Rear Derailleur- SRAM Red
Cage- Bontrager Carbon
Pedals- Eggbeater 2Ti
Skewers- No Frill
Brakes- KCNC CB1
Wheels- DuraAce WH7850-C24 w/Velo Plugs
Tubes- Continental Supersonic
Tires- Veloflex Corsa22
Here is a pic of the Deda Superzero post, really like it without the paint, just clear coat.
Thank you for viewing.

Wow ... nice
I am tempted to contract you to get me a seat post just like that
Question - why did you get a Ritchey wet white stem and then remove the paint? I am confused

All white was the original idea! But.....
Speaking of Ritchey stem, without the paint is actually shiny smooth silver alloy underneath except the black cover plate white logo was anodized. So I sprayed with matt black paint. The stem now is matt black except the bolts.

Awesome build!.. I appreciate your effort in building the S-Works just the way you want it...very nice. What size is your frame?
@ lcoolb, Deda is always overweight! Actually most of the brand, thanks to WW for the accurate weight info.
@ Darksid3, I'm looking for nice weather.
@ BreakfastClub, size 52. Thank you. Kind of tired of LBS. Bought everything on the web. Built the whole bike from scratch on my own.

It was a nice 50ºF day so brought a camera and took a shot. Never had SRam Red before but now I'm staying with it especially with the Dura Ace front derailleur. The weight of the SRam Red shifters, rear derailleur and the way it shifts just work for me. The bike is just awesome to ride after the weight loss "surgery". With my 140lb (63.5kg) weight and under 14lb (6.19kg) of the bike, I feel even lighter myself when riding it!
Thanks guys. Ride safe!

Hi,
Fabulous bike!
I have one - they ride so beautifully don't they?
How do you find the cranks? I'm using SRAM Red (with the TT chainring - I'm a pretty big guy and tend to bend the standard rings) cranks and find them pretty good so far - but I'm always looking for more bling/less weight!
Congrats on a really nice build and a beautiful looking ride
