I decided to sell my trusted Ridley Noah (Xentis Mark 1 TT and SRAM Force) and start with building a more 'traditional' bike. To keep the project affordable, I purchased all parts of the bike second hand.

I am most proud of the beautiful Fixie Inc. Chip Race frameset I found on eBay UK. It was used before, but shows hardly any sings of use :D I do not have a very accurate scale to weigh the frame on, but it is just over 1.700 grams for a size 59 (XXL).

The frame will be built with a Campagnolo Record 10-spd groupset and Campagnolo Bora One wheels. I initially bought a pair of Mavic CCU wheels, but they looked way to 'massive' on the frame. I will be replacing the rd and the cassette with a Tiso Sereo rd and a Tiso titanium cassette. The original Record brakes will be replaced by M5 Brams. I am not sure if I really like the looks of the brakes, but I have been wanting to try these out myself for quite some time. Seen to the fact that the frame is built out of stainless steel, I decided to buy a CrankBrothers Cobalt SL stainless headset. The finishing parts are a Deda Zero 00 stem, Deda Newton Shallow bars, New Ultimate Alloy seatpost and a Fizik Arione CX saddle.

Because of a short vacation I will not be able to build up the frame before next weekend. As soon as I have more pictures, I will let you know. Hope you like it.

I thought the Chip Race model was ti? Or is the ti model something new this year?
Either was, that steel frame is very appealing.
Build it and show it off here quickly please.

Cool looking frame. I like the colors and the details in the paint.
I would love to
hear back about how a 953 frame of this size rides.

I guess it's for non integrated headset?
(because the fork and headtube aren't looking good together without headset cups).

I like the Speedvagen-like decal on the downtube
