Jure sent me a post and bottle cages on the 5th Dec, unfortunately the parcel was lost, items re-made and sent again, months later still no parcel, customs had it then sent it to Jure on the 25th April! due to a form not being filled in properly. Parcel re-sent on the 27th, and still no parcel, stuck in customs as they are saying something about the address not being right, which is strange as I've had 4 parcels off Jure all delivered within 17 days.
Jure has been great throughout this frustrating time and very apologetic.
My question to anyone in Australia is, are you having the same problem with deliveries or am I just bloody unlucky. Over 5 months now waiting for Jures great products. Gutted.
Hi to all! Sorry for my late answers, I know I should check the forum more often, but don't really spend a lot of time on my computer in the free time, as much as I have it
Thanks for the photos @Dovitsky! Kcookie I just wrote a few hours ago, please check your email, thanks!
Aslo thanks for the compliments! Glad to hear that we have happy customers! But sometimes things go also wrong, and I would like to say sorry for all those who had some problems with us, mostly with longer waiting or shipping/delivery problems. So I can say sorry to David, Kevin, Gregoire, Daniel, Sam, etc.,..for lost or damaged packages. Unfortunately as the number of packages we sent grows, there are also more problems. We had already broken frames, handlebars, saddles during the transport, or lost, and it's the most stresfull thing for me as we want to make the replacement as soon as possible, and we give our best. Maybe I already mentioned that a few months ago there is a new law for shipping outside EU, and it is a nightmare because all the extra paper work we have to do. And if any details is missing or unclear it is stuck. I just get a package from Hong Kong today because during the transit it came back because "missing ZIP code", although they don't use it in their country, and similar...so anyway, if any problem or anything I am always here and you can contact us info(a)berk-composites.com and we will for sure take care and find a solution, I dare to say that we always find a way to solve any problem, and we will keep in that spirit.
To go a bit back to the topic, here is my bike, a 5,7kg bike with a custom paintjob:
The road from my home to our company:
Otherwise busy as always, I am already happy if I manage to go to our company with my bike, and that was I at least leave the company when it gets darker. I had some problems in the past years when I was "burned" and slowly getting things under control, at least I hope so but I am glad that I have great people/friends working with me and we will for sure give our best also in the future. Sometimes it can take a few days to answer the emails, I will also work on that, or most probably will get some help here, as it is quite hard sometimes to answer 50+ emails per day, but I'll for sure give my best to make more customers happy in the future. We already have new products developed and ready to start with production, but we have to grow step by step and we will for sure have some more interesting news in the future. Regarding the prices - it all depends on the product, how many hours we need to produce one part etc.,..it also depends if we should sell direct only, or in bike shops/dealers, there are quite huge differences

Have you ever considered making a 25.4mm seatpost?
We have the moulds for 25,4mm tubes, but we only use it for our integrated saddle combos. But in general we could use a standard hardware for the clamping system on such seatpost tube
There are far too few 25.4mm options, it'd be great if you'd consider!

I think there are three I can think of, Cannondale, MCFK and Hylix
That isn't enough!
Enve makes one too, there aren't many in zero offset either.

Doesn't patch the lack of actual production but look for old USE Alien, the aluminium ans Ti came on 25.4 for 160g (for the shorter ones)
