These days I'll concentrate more on this biathlon rifle project, although also some other projects are in process. We have to make a few prototypes and will then see how to continue, but most probably we'll make a rifle for the olympic games. Otherwise we also train together on the road bike, today we had a training and discussed about that project and I just can't wait that I continue with the wrok,..so as soon as I have some interesting news I'll let you know. A lot of things are going on these days and I'll give my best to take the time and share some photos with you.

Here just another photo, prepared carbon. As you can see the layup is where the science really starts. Multiple layers with different directions (+/- 45°, 30, 90, 0,..) with different weights, etc.,...then the right process has to be used etc.,..I just love this work:)

Hi berk,
which type of black glue do you use?
Hi, I use the same glue that is used also in F1 industry (3M 9323-2) and Araldite 2022 MMA, and a few other similar glues.
By the way, here just one photo of a wheel repair:

...and I started with a new project...just out of the mould, you can still see the excess resin.
32 pieces of carbon to get the best properties. Once it's trimmed and cut to the right lenght it should weight around 140g

Thanks! Hehe, well I had to make some quick notes while I had a conversation, as you see I also missed one "L" in "Pinarello"..I do have some other projects in process, I'm repaiting a Dogma frameset and have to make sure that I won't sand of the "UCI" logo on it (a Pinarello that was from Sky, now I'll make it matte black with carbon graphics, I can send some photos when I finish it if you want).

I made it by my own.
Otherwise here just a few photos of the Dogma that I repainted:

Another small project that I made a few days ago, a DIY project that anyone can make.
Turned this (Mavic Ksyrium Elite 2009):
into this: Mavic Elite SLR (till the first ride)
Those wheels had a lot of kilometers. Unfortunately I didn't photographed them before, but it was in quite bad shape - scratched spokes and rims, damaged stickers etc.,...and it only took around 2h to completely restore them. First I cleaned them, removed the stickers, removed the rest of the glue with acetone, then slightly sanded it (especialy on the areas that were a bit more scratched), cleaned again and it was ready for painting. I used a paint that is used to paint car bumpers, so no need to use primer and clearcoat, just painted the complete wheelset...of course the brake track won't last for a long time, but anyway, you get a nice matte look of the wheelset.

Another repair (broken seatstay), before and after:
And finally a prototype saddle with leather:
Although it adds some weight I prefer it like that. Otherwise still in process, I'm waiting to get the new moulds (slightly changed the design) and hopefully I'll soon get the moulds,..I'm sorry that it takes so long, but I want to make it perfect..
