Jure that is amazing work. I think a while back you mentioned something about your family doing leather work or something like that. You can see in the attention to detail on teh saddle that you have some experience working with it. Love the attention to detail and the weight is great on the saddle with leather. The nice part is that you would not slip around as much BUT it hides your amazin work with carbon.

Thanks to all!

Yes, we had a leather company in our family, my gradfather worked all his life with leather, and also when he retired (he was a technical director in a leather company that worked on all kind of products) he had his own smaller company, more or less "for his soul", but worked still quite a lot. When I was small I enjoyed watching him and he also learned me some things, and somehow also this work is very close to me. So I have the right informations how to make it, which materials etc.,...so I get the hugh quality leather and make the work by myself. And I really enjoy it, although it covers the carbon work. Personally I prefer to ride with a saddle covered with leather. Would be also interesting to make a combo like that, maybe I'll try something new for next season, will see. Otherwise I think it could be done <70g with leather, waiting for the new moulds (some small changes that will even reduce the weight a bit) and I could also use a bit less leather (where it's glued - on the downside of the saddle). I'll for sure keep you updated as soon as I have some more news. Any opinions are much appreciated :thumbup:

I'm glad to hear that you like it!

Of course my aim is to make it comfortable. So based on the testrides I created a layup with quite a lot of flex - wanted to make something with a similar flex like for example the Selle Italia SLR flow saddle.
Here just one short video, showing the flex when I push with my finger as much as I can: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=653925124619486
I uploadet it on Facebook and I'm not sure if everyone can see it? If not then please let me know and I'll upload it somewhere where everyone can see it.

That looks fantastic. I'm definitely in the (already long I'm sure) list of members who'll be looking to get one!

The only comment to you on this is "I WANT TWO" for my 29er build and for my English build.

I'm glad to hear that you like it! I'm sorry that it takes soo long (get the first mould in May if I'm right), hope it's not upsetting when I post those updates and still don't offer it for sale, but I'm working on it and will give my best!

@Willier,
It's a glue from Neostik, very similar to the glue that is used for tubular tires.

FYI for those looking for smaller setbacks on seat post, the new deda superleggero seat post (to be released) has 15mm and is lighter than a superzero post.

Waaay too much flex for me. Will you do one that's on par with the S-Works Toupe?

I just made that video to show you what is possible. Otherwise the design was slightly changed (based on the test rides I made some small changes on the design) and now I'm waiting for the new moulds.
Otherwise I can of course use a different layup and make it even a lot stiffer, some prototypes that I made were very stiff, almost without any flex (only adds around 6g to the weight of the procuct to make it super stiff).
